Mel is dedicated to Hawaiian cultural learning. Mel studies hawaiian studies at university, in HĀLAU, and under the guidance of KŪPUNA. 
SHE HAS WORKED with clients and lived ACROSS THE ISLANDS OF Hawaiʻi (MAUI, OAHU, HAWAIʻI, KAUAʻI). Locally on Maui, Mel works with community Leaders, businesses, artisans, artists, farmers, and nonprofits.
Since the 2023 maui wildfires, Mel has worked with Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Relief bpa and local businesses impacted.
